I've been wanting a Revo Revy, but is she as crappy as people say? I do know that early Revos are crap (got that Protect Gear. Wish I hadn't, it looks like a mid-90's toy), but is this one good enough for the only action figure of her? (I'm very forgiving in these cases, bought a bunch of crappy Love Hina figures)

Umm... Can you toned down your words a little bit? There's some underage BSW member, you know? ^^;; Aside from that,

Revy is pretty much awesome figure. But what's the minus point of this figure?
- She only got 2 head parts, the one with tied hair & the loosen hair. Well, kinda logical.
- She only gazing to the right & left but NOT to her front. How can she focus to her enemies? Meh
- Earlier Revoltech's joints are not as flexible as Figma. Deal with that.
- In my case, my room WAS humid. Eventually, this will make her skin will become darker.
- Also will make her skin "melted" (as in, a bit sticky like rubber). I wonder if my Revy is a knock offs.
- Along this point, it will make her joints sticky too. Be prepared for a snapping joints if you play with her too much.

Revy is known to have been bootlegged, so I'm afraid yours is one of those. A Kaiyodo figure would never "melt", even if the early designs were poor, the material wasn't (Paintjob is another matter)

I hate when I figure doesn't have an action face looking forward, let alone a figure that doesn't have ANY face facing forward
Other than that, what you've said is as expected from an early Revoltech and the major problems would be caused by it being a bootleg.
Now, if this isn't a bootleg, then shame on Kaiyodo and I'd never get a Revy.

Being the ONLY action figure of her, I can forgive the lack of a standard face.
What I can't forgive is the price these days XD (I'd pay $20 shipped, no more)
Also have to be careful that I get an original one.

It seems that when Busou Shinki came to the scene, the quality of Japanese figures went through the roof. I mean look at the newer revoltechs and figma's. I so far have been impressed with what I got.

I've only recently realized Masaki Apsy was the person sculpting all these figmas. I guess he's gotten more experienced working on Busou Shinki?

Revoltech, technically being the only big competition coming out of Kaiyodo, naturally has to keep up with the race. So if this line of thought is valid, then I guess Busou Shinki really did kick off the Japanese figure quality.
