I do my best to clean up for shots... I'm PAINFULLY aware that with the closeups toy photography requires, every crumb and spec is visible.
However, I live with two walking, talking garbage making machines. Two of my roommates have all the cleanup skills of 6 year olds... and respond much the same when asked to clean. So it's a struggle. Also, our place is old, and very worn, and the carpet is well past needing to be replaced. Which the landlords will happily do... after we move out.
