I created enough panels for a short comic so I'll make a thread for it. I don't expect to make many of them or very often but I'll do what I can. This looks to be a Shinki-centric comic but I do intend to introduce my TFs and other toys as ideas strike. This first comic was inspired by a suggestion by someone in the Shinki thread at TFW2005 which in turn brought to mind the Shinki stew from Shane's Comics so I ran off on that. I hope you enjoy!

I know she's (supposed to be) a ferret, I get plenty of complaints about that. But Partio looks cuter so phffft!!

Alternate ending:

Pomock gives Partio a noogie to the head. I thought that was a bit mean considering she's been chopped up already so I went with lovey-dovey ending instead. Let me know which you guys prefer and I'll that into consideration for future strips. Also let me know if you prefer this smaller size or the previous bigger strip picture size.

A few comments.
1) The effects like motion blur and especially the impact marks are definitely a hit & miss and inconsistent due to me experimenting with different styles & techniques. This is definitely a work in progress.
2) I'm definitely going on a regular vacuuming schedule. I shed hair like a cat does fur. Shooting for this comic made me painfully aware of the hair that's all over the place.
3) This is hosted on deviant since the neither flick nor PB supports vertically long pictures. If anyone else has hosting suggestions, please let me know!

The minimalist approach to speech is great! I think they come out better when the girls "speak" emoticons and such. The fact that your sight-gags and expressive posing are awesome really helps this. Please, keep it up!

1) Yes, notice it's ep 2. I'm kinda moving this forward now.
2) Yeah, the writing is atrocious. You should see my previous drafts for the scout's dialogue. It's worthy of a strip in itself. :p
3) This is part 1 in a 3 part series. The 3rd part is where all the action will be so it might take me a while while I practice & experiment with more effects.
4) I'm going to go ahead with a Halloween special. I have an idea of what I want to do so I'm gonna go run with it. I'll hopefully have it up by Halloween.
