Actually I came across the "Problem Glasses" as an Internet meme. I don't know what it's origin is, though, so it could be Futurama. It struck me as funny at the time and as something that Evelyn would say.

Thanks, I had to laugh at that one too. Evelyn's impatience with what she obviously perceives as the tediously indirect way of doing things always strikes me as funny.
