anyway, the script for the next episode is done, the pics were already taken... but the CGs.... well... this is going to be more difficult than i though, so i'm posting my first "big" spoiler because i need help... sort of...



as you can see this is a CG of my first try of a "decepticon bunker" or underground base... whatever you want to call it... this was made in POVRAY btw.

my problem is, i havent quite got the trick on doing proper texturing to the walls and SPECIALLY the floor (which is supposed to be cardboard there but havent managed to make it tiled, same goes for the walls... )

if ANYONE has any idea on how to make this work on povray, let me know by PM

(or if anyone knows how to make it work in google SketchUp with a photorealistic rendering...)

this one took a while...

Notes:

1- as you can see i tried to do something involving CG, so the (still unfinished) backgrounds were made with a 3D raytracing software called POV-RAY. so expect to see some changes in those backgrounds in future episodes.

2- that orange KO TF is the one called Dr. Rattler... he was mentioned almost at the beginning of this comic... almost 2 years ago... Orz... despite being the WORST KO figure i have bough, it's perfect for what i have planned, so expect more of this character... "soon"

3- this is the very first time i try some new blu-screen tricks and some cheating with shadows... let's see how it goes from now on...

4- trust me when i say this: do NOT expect Megatron to betray Megatron, that's not going to happen... so pretty much things will get only worse for the good toys from now on.

just a preliminary design though... the final product will be (hopefully) shinki compatible

By the way, did you know that grimlock's arms can go in further to create a more streamlined arm?

i already knew about grim's arms... but sadly mine dont seem to fully slide in without a LOT of force... so i'll keep them like that to avoid breaking him... (he's the only figure of grimlock i have so i have to take care of him!)

Whoa, that's quite a bummer. Anyway, lovin this comic as always!

Advice:

- this one requires a LOT of imagination so try to visualize what's happening here...

- this episode has THIS SONG as background music, but you should wait until panel 6 to start playing... from then on it's up to you to sync it with the text in the comic

- and last: i really REALLY hope you all are mentally prepared for this...
