Re: Fun with Figmas!

^Thanks! that pretty much confirms what i had suspected about this, since it was only announced a little while ago, there's no solid info on it. and I agree, the feet/legs look significantly different from the original release and, just like the original, that set of hands is likely designed specifi...

Re: Alex's Shinkis & Customs

LOL! poor mao. ^_^; Such Cute Pictures! Thanks! Oh no! Poor Mao! At least she can retreat to her furniture fort! don't worry! mao didn't actually get punched, it was film fighting. And even if she had, she's so relentlessly cute and happy that she'd probably just shrug it off and continu...

Re: Alex's Shinkis & Customs

AH-HA!!!! Time for Strarf's first photoshoot! :headbang: I've had her for a few weeks now, but never had a chance to get any good photos till now. I absolutely love her! she is awesome, although she can never match Mao in the 'inherent cuteness' department. Now, I don't usually name my Shinkis, but ...

Re: Halconfenix Misc Artworks

this looks great! a little paint and sanding work and you'll have yourself a showpiece! although if you're planning to put it on shapeways... won't it be rather expensive, being so big and all? I know shapeways charges by volume, so make it entirely hollow, possibly with no bottom. But they may also...

Re: 3D printed guns!

Nice looking revolver you made there, do you think glasses would be possible? definitely! although it will be difficult to have really thin frames, since it's such a small scale. post or PM me a pic of the specific style you've got in mind and i'll cad them up. the tough part will be making the gla...

Re: 3D printed guns!

Thanks! that squirt-gun looks pretty good for a highlighter paintjob! I'm interested to know, how sturdy is it? since I've had to change to FUD in order to get any semblance of detail through shapeway's thickness screening and i don't have much experience with FUD at such a small scale i'm wondering...
