Re: ZeroEdge's Armor Tutorials - Head and Chest (3/29/2015)

Well, this might not work as well for heads, but it should be plenty doable to create blank Shinki chests via 3D printing and use them to mount armor pieces on (I know MMS Nakeds came with something of the sort). I know there are a few members who are working on 3D printing various Shinki parts; it ...

BSW Unified Fantasy Setting

BSW Unified Fantasy Setting This started as an idea spawned from idle discussion in CBox; many of us are not only fantasy fans, but have created our own fantasy races, cultures, or just characters, and there has been at least one RP run with them. I figured we might as well compile what we've got. ...

Re: ZeroEdge's Armor Tutorials - Shoulders (3/28/2015)

So that's how you do shoulder armor. I wound up attaching 'Rythae's Delta Kai shoulder armor directly to the replacement arms, but that's rather specific to the HGUC Delta series shoulders.

Re: ZeroEdge's Armor Tutorials - Arms (3/22/2015)

Nice set of tutorials. I'd do some more of this were I not at a shortage of Shinki bodies (my fix with RAcaseals is a little more involved). Personal experience from modding a Delta Kai went mostly like this; I went for the full arm replacement, which, luckily, was almost a straight plug-and-play, t...

Alternatively, for something like feet, you might be able to model and print it out yourself (or beg a model off one of our modelers here).

Unfortunately, no. With the line more or less confirmed dead and many of the people who've posted in this thread inactive or gone, nothing's been done for this.

Re: Busou Shinki are no so death

Also seems like the armor can't totally be casted off This. I'd have to wait for the full release to be sure, but I don't think these figures have any sort of base body; there's nothing under the armor. That's an odd design choice in my eyes, because one of the main draws of the Frame Arms kits was...

Re: First, lets sit down

Are those physical glasses, or edited on? I've tried to give my 'Rythæ glasses, and her hair keeps getting in the way.

Re: Modded Armlets

Xehn's got the right idea; all Shinki come with a back mount of some kind. Those that don't use the default one will still come with it, and it makes a decent base for customization. Depending on your Shinki and how much of their armor you want to keep, you might want to use the specialized one if t...

Re: Flight Capability

No problem. Next to GunPla, Kotobukiya's various kitbasher-friendly lines (namely, Frame Arms and Extend Arms; and Modelling Support Goods, which includes both Weapon Units and Heavy Weapon Units) are some of the most common customizations seen in this community.
