can't say i have ever painted a shinki, but i always stick to Citadel paints for models/gunpla. i have heard Tamiya sprays are quite good as well, but i've yet to use them for anything.

as far as designs go i'd love to see a wave featuring either the curvy, organic looking mech designs of Yutaka Izubuchi (RahXephon, Char's Counterattack) or the over-accented, blocky style of Hajime Katoki (Virtual On, nearly every angular looking mobile suit design in Gundam).

Eukrante is based off of Eucrante, one of the Nereids from Greek mythology. Tsugaru is just the name of the Goli character from Beatmania IIDX that the shinki was based on. Fort Bragg is a military base in North Carolina, though i kind of doubt that has anything to do with anything. strangely enough...
