Re: And So It Begins (Kotobukiya Busou Shinki)

I don't know how I feel about the space shuttle boosters on a "default" Arnval model though. And Strarf looks like she needs more...stuff. Maybe because I never owned a 1st gen Strarf model, but I thought her busou was more elaborate than that.

Re: Which Shinkis should be remade first?

White plastic yellowing is not what I refer to when I say 'turning gross'. The soft pvc bits of early shinki are prone to leaking their plasticisers with age, which makes them sticky and greasy. Re: And So It Begins (Kotobukiya Busou Shinki)

My Japanese is rough, but it appears to be a new style body Frame Arms Girls figure, and just talks about its increased poseability and compatibility with MSG accessories. As far as I can tell it's not Busou Shinki related.

Re: And So It Begins (Kotobukiya Busou Shinki)

Admittedly I did not know what a water slide decal was until this conversation induced me to Google it. Initially I thought you were all annoyed because you wanted to decorate the new Shinki with something other than stickers of water slides. Although I can see Altlene having a field day being cover...

Re: And So It Begins (Kotobukiya Busou Shinki)

I have no experience with Frame Arms Girls, but have dabbled a bit with Frame Arms proper. I also wouldn't call myself an avid model builder. How complicated is the initial out-of-the-box build process for the new Busou Shinki? I really don't want to have to get into heavy-duty painting and/or glue....

Re: 3D Printing a 1:12 scale doll.

Not to necropost, but I'm trying to ask around for anyone who has or might be able to 3D print a pair of default feet for a MMS 1st body. Anybody? Bueller?

Spare Parts

So I happened to purchase a secondhand Shinki for spare parts, and now my slight OCD wants to find more spare parts for the secondhand junked body so I can at least buy an EX set to complete her. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a very big market for tiny missing bits of Shinki - I ...
